What Now? Thrive and Grow? is a business support programme for creative practitioners in South Tyneside who are engaged in some levels of trading activity but are unsure how to make their next steps. This programme is specifically created to bridge the gap between start up and growth.
Starting in January 2024 over three months you will be invited to four half day in persons workshops and 3 individual online mentoring sessions, providing you with the flexibility to learn and grow at your own pace.
Before you start, you’ll be supported to complete a questionnaire which we’ll use to create a customised framework for your journey. This framework will help you apply what you learn, reflect on your actions, make informed decisions, and measure your progress.
You will be introduced to cutting-edge business tools and techniques tailored to the strengths of your creative offering and, whilst we will challenge and stretch your capabilities, we also make sure our programme is fun and inspiring. We believe that a dynamic and positive learning environment is essential for your growth journey.
By the end of the programme, you will have:
- a clear sense of direction.
- identified fresh income-generating opportunities related to your creative practice
- nurtured your entrepreneurial skill sets.
- extended your creative and enterprise networks.
- bolstered your business’ resilience.
- Be more confident in your capacities to take the next steps.

Registration is by application to ensure that participating businesses are well placed to make use of the learning. The process of applying will not be onerous.

On receipt of your expression of interest, one of the What Now? Thrive and Grow! team will send you an application pack, which includes a short form and information about programme dates, times and workshop venues. You will need to commit to attending all workshops to be able to participate in the programme.
