Unlock Your Creative Potential

Are you an artist, creative freelancer, or running a creative business in County Durham?

Get ready to boost your productivity and thrive like never before!

Create North has won a contract to run a professional development programme designed to support creative businesses in County Durham to become more productive. The programme has been commissioned by Durham County Council using the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

We see this as a unique opportunity to innovate and reimagine enterprise development. Rather than recycling existing resources, we aim to collaborate with talented practitioners to co-create a programme that truly resonates with the creative community in County Durham. We want to create opportunities for practitioners to shape a support system that delivers real, tangible value to themselves and others.

From conversations we have had, we know there is an appetite among the creative community in County Durham to participate in practitioner-led practical workshops. These might include, for example, sessions on mastering Procreate for digital art, using Mailchimp to grow your audience, maximising Eventbrite to streamline workshop bookings, or utilising your smartphone to create compelling funding pitches. We will also investigate using some of the funds to commission programme participants to share their expertise with the rest of the cohort.
