Sell bird-themed art at Amble Puffin Festival

Create North has been working with Amble Development Trust to develop a new walking trail of public sculptures inspired by the birdlife found around the Amble coast. The artworks are being created by nationally and internationally renowned artists.

The creation of the trail is being accompanied by a programme of workshops and events, offering huge opportunities for interaction, learning and fun around the artworks themselves, as well as a participation and engagement programme that will help people to grow and develop their own creativity.

As part of this engagement project, Create North is creating opportunities for 20 practitioners to host stalls to showcase and sell work at Amble’s Puffin Festival on either the 4th or 5th June.

The festival attracts over 2,000 people each year. This year, in addition to the usual programme of activity, Create North has commissioned aerial performances, creative workshops, street theatre and puppet and kite making.
