Value is always created within a business be it a brand, a product, a website, a training course, a video or promotion materials. This intangible value is also known as intellectual property (IP). In this session, you will learn how to recognize the intellectual property (IP) you own and use, how to protect your creations and how to make sure you are not infringing anyone else’s rights.

We’re jointly hosting this event with the regional Business IP Centre North East, based in Newcastle . The Business & IP Centre team members are IP advisors (certified) trained by the Intellectual Property Office. A member of the team will introduce the key ideas behind the different types of IP: designs, copyright, trade marks, patents and trade secrets.

In addition to the workshop you’ll have the opportunity to find out how you can access additional support with your own IP issues from the Business & IP Centre.

This workshop is FREE but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
