Key foundations of the Create Norths work is, to broaden participants’ perceptions of where business opportunities reside and their understanding of the networks which can facilitate the exploitation of these opportunities. Being mindful of the fact that the creative sector views itself as somewhat apart from the rest of the business community, we engage participants in a way which is meaningful to them by placing creativity and innovation at the heart of enterprise.
This means, for example, demonstrating that it is ultimately the creativity of the practitioners which will give them a competitive edge in responding to a constantly shifting environment where globalisation, changing demographics, technological changes, environmental change, government policies and changing ways of working will all make an impact.
The Workshop Leaders were informative and passionate about their subject. Great opportunity to network/meet new people. Learned so much. Thank you so much to all for organising this – VERY much appreciated. Genuinely hope for more in the future.”
